Brandelyn grew up in Clanton and came to Montevallo for school. She graduated with honors from the University of Montevallo — English Literature, with minors in business and biology — and never really left.
Real estate wasn't the first plan. She's a trained EMT, and she operated heavy equipment before deciding that helping people find houses was the thing she actually wanted to do. Both of those jobs turn out to be reasonable preparation: one taught her to stay calm when everyone else is panicking, the other taught her what's underneath a property before anybody puts a porch on it.
She started in real estate in 2016 and was named Rookie of the Year at Keller Williams Metro South that same year. Ten years later she's still here, now with Team Lehman, working with buyers and sellers from Montevallo out through Alabaster, Calera, Columbiana, Wilsonville, and back down to Clanton.
In 2025 she ran for the District 4 seat on the Montevallo City Council and won, with results certified by the city that September. It's worth saying plainly why that's on a real estate site: when someone asks whether a town is genuinely welcoming, how a street is zoned, or what's happening with the land two blocks over, she isn't guessing from listings.
